About the Institution

The Teddy’s Club Kindergarten opened its gates in September of 2006. Our kindergarten has three groups of 10-15 children and the nursery was established from the school year of 2011-2012.
The kindergarten as a foundation is determined by its partners’ needs and maintainers’ expectation. We significantly believe that parents must be informed in all questions. Children attending our kindergarten are not necessarily from this district, but from both the city and region. The background of the children’s parents is good and we take the parents’ expectation into great consideration. We base our kindergarten program on the parents’ requests and collaboration with the appropriate supplement of family upbringing (authentic English language communication and environmental education).

Characteristics of Our Institution

The main characteristic of our pedagogy program is teaching the English language to young children and the Montessori pedagogy program.
The basis of the Montessori pedagogy is to gain the children’s trust and to awakening the children’s desire to learn about the world (this is based on Maria Montessori’s main principles).
Our main language learning principle is based on authentic, every day English use.
Language teaching is conducted by our native English-speaking and fluent-speaking kindergarten teachers.
Our kindergarten takes part in international grants where foreign teacher come to help. Hereby the children are able to socialize in a multicultural and multiple language environment at an early age.
We accomplish foreign language learning and development by actively using fun language games and songs.
Our second most significant area in our educational program is environmental education. We aim at arising children’s awareness of their surroundings and developing their moral system.
Our goal is to create a loving, family-like, safe, active and fun kindergarten life where we ensure an environment in which the children can unfold their personality.
We emphasize the need to prepare the children for school.
The aim of our educational upbringing is to help children develop and freely create.
We organize complex activities within playful games throughout their everyday educational upbringing.
